Networking Field Day 20 Is Here
Networking Field Day 20 is around the corner. I am excited to attend NFD20 and it is my privilege to be part of the NFD20 delegates. NFD20 has an exciting vendor lineup. The two major themes of NDF20 seem to be SD-WAN and Network Analytics & Visibility.
Below is what I am guessing that the companies will present.
128 Technology
128 Technology offers a Cloud Ready SD-WAN product with integrated zero trust Security and Automation. I am curious to know more about their “Tunnel Free” design and what advantages it can bring as compared to other SD-WAN vendor approaches. It would be interesting to compare 128 Technology product with other SD-WAN vendors like Juniper, and VeloCloud from VMWare.
Extreme Networks
I have heard about Extreme Networks but I have never gotten an opportunity to be familiar with their products. I am eager to learn more about Extreme Networks product portfolio and curious to see what they present at #NFD20.
Fortinet
Fortinet has a wide range of security products that focus on Security on-prem as well as in Cloud. Public Cloud adoption is increasing in the Enterprises and along with that, the demand of next-generation Security is on the rise too. It would be interesting to see the latest Security offerings from Fortinet at #NFD20.
Juniper Networks
Self Driving Network is the latest theme of CTO Kireeti Kompella at Juniper. Juniper has a lot going on in the area of Contrail, Automation, and Telemetry. It will be interesting to see what Juniper presents.
KEMP Technologies
I am totally excited to know more about Kemp Technologies. Many Cloud Service Providers have not solved problem of Layer 7 Load Balancing in Cloud and that will make Kemp Technologies demo at #NFD20 very interesting.
Netrounds
This is the first time that Netrounds is presenting at Tech Field Day. Their website mentions about SD-WAN assurance tool that seems to be interesting. I am eager to learn more about what Netrounds offers.
Nokia
This is the first time that Nokia is presenting at Tech Field Day. Nokia has interesting Networking portfolio from the acquisitions of Alcatel-Lucent and TiMetra. I am interested in knowing more about Nokia’s networking products at #NFD20.
Nyansa
Nyansa offers a great network visibility and analytics platform. I attended Nyansa presentation at #NFD18 where Nyansa presented Voyance WAN offering that shows a lot of WAN Analytics. Nyansa was working on adding support of SD-WAN overlay visibility during #NFD18. It will be interesting to see what Nyansa presents at #NFD20.
pathSolutions
This is the first time that pathSolutions is presenting at Tech Field Day. Their website mentions about Network Performance Management, SD-WAN performance management, NetFlow analyzer and much more. I am curious to know more about their products.
SnapRoute
This is the first time that Nokia is presenting at Tech Field Day. SnapRoute is funded by very good VCs. I have heard about SnapRoute but I do not know much about their offering. I am excited to learn more about SnapRoute as well see a Demo.
VMWare
VMWare has a lot of good technologies to demo at #NFD20. VMWare had recently released NSX Service Mesh based on Istio. VMWare might be doing a demo of NSX Service Mesh or share more updates on VeloCloud SD-WAN. It would be exciting to see what VMWare present at #NFD20.
Overall, NFD20 has an exciting vendor line-up and it will be exciting to meet all the vendors, delegates, and Tech Field Day team. Looking forward to NFD20!!!
